Simon Zhang

Founder

Simon Zhang

Simon possesses extensive knowledge and interests in real estate development, backed up by exceptional leadership traits. Simon contributed his enthusiasm and knowledge to community housing and currently leads and manages in excess of $50MM of residential development projects. He is involved in both the local community and internationally, established multiple financial holding companies and offices in China serving HNW families. With a wealth of knowledge in real estate planning, finance, development, and construction, Simon leads ZZY’s team in unlocking potential and creating value through redevelopment, repositioning, and asset management. This results in higher-than-expected returns for investors and partners.

Simon holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from New York University and a Bachelor of Commence degree from Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto.

Dennis Jiang

CEO and Co-Founder

Dennis Jiang

Dennis is the Chief Executive Officer, responsible for financial reporting, J.V. reporting, development reporting, cash and debt management, budgeting and supporting acquisition and disposition activities across ZZY’s portfolio.

Previously, Dennis has been heavily involved in the wealth management channel of Scotiabank, where he actively managed over $20MM assets for investors in both primary and secondary markets and delivered over $50MM lending solutions to retail clients. With diverse background in equity raising and deal closing, Dennis plays a crucial role in financing and asset acquisitions.

Dennis holds an MBA degree and a Bachelor of Commence degree from Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto.

David Fu

Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder

David Fu

As the Chief Investment Officer at ZZY, David is responsible for establishing new partnership opportunities and sourcing new projects, as well as participating in an active role in the Business Development of ZZY and its partners.

David is a Venture Partner providing investment banking services at GIC Merchant Bank, board director at Cutler Group Inc., an upscale smart home appliances supplier. Over the years, he has been involved in tremendous amount of investment projects, participating in fund raising for over $20MM from all over the world.

David received a Master of Science Degree of Mechanical and Industrial engineering and a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Toronto.

John Knifton

Managing Partner and President of JK Development GP2 Limited

John Knifton

John has been in the real estate development and consulting business since 1983. As an HBA graduate of the University of Western Ontario, and a further degree in Construction Project Management from Fanshawe College, John has hands on experience in almost every single discipline of real estate development including Commercial Retail Shopping Centres, Recreational Sport and Resort Infrastructure projects, Hotel and Condominium Development, as well as Retirement and Long-Term Care experience. As the founder of JK Development GP2 Limited (https://www.jkdevcorp.com/), John brings a high level of knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism to all real estate projects his is involved with.

Ethan Li

Head of China

Ethan Li

As the head of the China Office, Ethan is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities in China, as well as managing ZZY’s China-based private equity division. Ethan is specialized in alternative investment and has great experience in global real estate investments. His insurance mutual fund working experiences support him to commit to finding value with a forward-looking perspective.

Ethan received a Master of Finance Degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto.
